Talofa lava, my name is Teagan Martha Marieta Tunupopo (nee Moore). I was born in Samoa and raised in West Auckland.
I am the eldest with three awesome siblings and the cutest newest nephew. My amazing parents Neville & Joan are from Vaivase and Alamagoto with a mix of other heritage. My handsome husband Nathan is from Singamoga – we’re newly married and just moved to the city and loving it. I serve with my husband as deacons at Peace Chapel Christian Fellowship West. My late Mama Palepa left our family a legacy of faith which I am so grateful for.
I work for the government and although the nature of the work has its challenges, we have a great team with a lot of heart. With encouragement from my Mama Gina, I am also completing my Master of Health Practice in violence and trauma this year.
I’m aiming to reach a new level of fearlessness with my faith in Jesus. I hope to become who He has called me to be as a Samoan wife, daughter, sister & woman. My goal is to embrace and take ownership of my physical, mental and spiritual health.
I think of my mother, my grandma’s, cousins, friends and amazing women in my life to be reminded of what true character and beauty means. I hope one of my favourite bible verses encourages you that you are amazing, honoured, and blessed as well!
“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.. Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." - Proverbs 31:25 & 30.
When fear comes knocking, answer the door with faith. May God bless you, keep you and strengthen you to become #fearless

The #IAMFEARLESS campaign was run by Studio81 as a way to encourage women from all walks of life to kickstart, inspire, and/or motivate any upcoming goals they had, to share a part of their life's journey, and to impart any wisdoms learned along the way.
